Join the Liberation Day Remembrance March

as part of UK Pride 2020

It will have been 50 years since the firsts parades or marches for the LGBT+ community, and one of which was during Christopher Street Liberation Day on June 28, 1970. This day marked the first anniversary of the Stonewall riots. The Christopher Street march was seen as one of the first Gay Pride March in U.S. history, and covered the 51 blocks to Central Park.

Northern Pride Festival, and this years UK Pride 2020 will feature a spectacular march through the centre of Newcastle and you’re invited to take part. The March will start at 12 noon Saturday 18th July, from Newcastle Civic Centre, but arrive early so we don’t leave without you!
