Who or what inspires you and why?
The person who inspired me as a teenager was a lady called April Ashley. Why? well growing up in 60s I found someone who had the courage to become who she wanted to be. Growing up on a council estate in the West end of Newcastle this seemed impossible. Having her out here allowed me to dream, what if……. Well my dream did come true, so please everyone …… keep believing.
