UK PRIDE 2022
Our commitment since our bid for UK Pride remains unchanged, yet stronger than ever due to the disproportionate impact the pandemic has had on LGBTQ+ people.
We plan to...
- show the world that Newcastle and the northeast region is a celebrated LGBTQ+ safe place
- build our most inclusive and accessible festival to date
- bring more local performers and creatives to the festival celebrating our diverse community
- have the biggest and loudest pride march celebrating 50 years since the first UK LGBTQ+ March in London
- deliver our biggest free pride festival weekend ever
Our festival is split into two area's giving attendees a wide range of things to see and do across the weekend.
