BE TRANS SUPPORT AND COMMUNITY

A charity working for the benefit of trans including non-binary people in the North East of England. We run a weekly peer support group in Newcastle, as well as virtual support groups, both of which are open to anyone who identifies as trans or gender non-conforming and to those who are questioning their gender. We aim to improve outcomes for trans people in our work with service providers across the region, helping to increase awareness, advise on equality and diversity issues and provide policy guidance.

We also offer confidential 1-2-1 support tailored to the needs of each individual and are resuming our health and well-being and trans visibility projects as we begin to come out of the pandemic.

For more information, please contact us at https://be-north.org.uk or teambe@be-north.org.uk.
