PROUD ALLIES TRAINING

in partnership with

Curious-Arts-logo.png

Our training in partnership with Curious Arts was developed in order to ensure progression and excellence in equality, diversity, and inclusion. In particular, those actively looking to create safe and welcoming working and customer environments for LGBTQIA+ people.

The Proud Allies training will raise awareness and increase confidence around inclusive language, engaging with LGBTQIA+ communities and people, and increase understanding of the intersectionality of the LGBTQIA+ community with some judgment-free question and answer time.

The training course has been designed with a range of professionals and community members from a wide representation across LGBTQIA+ community including people of faith, people with disabilities, and gender non-conforming people.

Training sessions are suitable for all employees with the added benefit towards team members working within public facing roles, customer service, marketing, HR, and management teams, or for those who are looking to be better allies and role models for others.

Training to drive inclusion

Northern Pride director, Ste Dunn, spoke recently about the Proud Allies training on the podcast 'Driving Place Based Innovation'.

Listen back now, and find out why we are on this mission to create more proud allies across the north east.
